THE ALLEN HOUSE
Built in 1852 and restored in 2017, this 11-room National Historical Landmark stands at the heart of Mustard Seed Hill.
Its fine interior details include a graceful spiral staircase perfectly suited for a bride’s special entrance as well as group and individual photos. The manor blends with every style a bride might desire. And, its many rooms are well suited to making the bridal party comfortable, even offering a honeymoon suite.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY
“The setting is magical! The Allen House on Mustard Seed Hill is a bride’s dream. Spectacular photo opportunities are endless – both inside and out. The romantic rolling hills of Bourbon County surround the outdoor events spaces. The interior is finely appointed with all the original moldings and wainscoting lovingly restored. The interior decor is understated elegance with embroidered sheer drapery and luscious upholstery. The Groom’s and Billiards Rooms offer an area for relaxation and camaraderie. The Bride’s Dressing Rooms upstairs offer a lovely private and intimate space for the bride and her maids. The sweeping, curved staircase descends into the Grand Entry Hall.
